Futura USA specializes in the design, engineering, fabrication, and installation of architectural metal systems for commercial construction projects.
We are seeking an experienced Construction Accounting & Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, establish accounting procedures, and help implement our construction management platform, Constructefy.
Key Responsibilities
* Accounting: Manage A/R, A/P, invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
* Job Costing: Track project budgets, expenses, change orders, and profitability.
* Cash Flow: Manage payment schedules, collections, and cash flow forecasting.
* Financial Reporting: Prepare P&L statements, balance sheets, WIP reports, and project profitability reports.
* QuickBooks Online: Maintain accurate accounting records, financial statements, and reconciliations.
* Constructefy Implementation: Help configure, test, and implement financial workflows within Constructefy, ensuring transactions are entered through Constructefy and accurately synchronized with QuickBooks Online.
* Processes & Controls: Develop standardized accounting procedures, approval workflows, cost codes, and financial controls.
* Financial Planning: Monitor overhead, budgets, and company profitability.
Required Qualifications
* Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in U.S. construction.
* Advanced QuickBooks Online proficiency (mandatory).
* Fluent English, written and spoken (mandatory).
* Strong knowledge of construction job costing, A/R, A/P, and financial reporting.
* Experience with cash flow management and budgeting.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Ability to independently manage accounting operations.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with U.S. commercial construction subcontractors.
* Knowledge of AIA billing, retainage, and WIP reporting.
* Experience implementing accounting software or ERP systems.
* Experience developing financial procedures and internal controls.
