Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Sales Representative role based in Guwahati. The Medical Sales Representative will promote Ipca’s pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, and hospital staff, through regular visits and presentations. Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong professional relationships, providing accurate product information, and ensuring ethical and compliant promotion practices. The role involves monitoring market trends, gathering feedback from customers, and reporting sales activities and performance metrics to management. The Medical Sales Representative will also coordinate with internal teams for timely supply, resolve customer queries, and participate in medical conferences, promotional events, and training sessions as required.
Qualifications
Strong Medical Sales skills, including product promotion, territory management, and achievement of sales targets.
Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust, address inquiries, and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare professionals.
Foundational knowledge of Medicine and Pharmacy to understand therapeutic areas, product benefits, and clinical applications.
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field; a background in healthcare or pharmaceuticals is preferred.
Ability to work independently in the field, plan visits efficiently, and adapt to changing market conditions.
Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting, CRM usage, and documentation.
High ethical standards, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory and company compliance guidelines.
