Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Ukrainian Interpreter. The Ukrainian Interpreter will provide real-time interpretation between Ukrainian and English during virtual calls, supporting clients in sectors such as medical, legal, customer service, and technical support. Daily tasks include accurately conveying spoken information, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to client-specific terminology and protocols. The interpreter will manage scheduled and on-demand calls, document key interaction details when required, and collaborate with supervisors to address complex cases. The role also involves participating in periodic training, quality assurance activities, and performance reviews to maintain high interpretation standards and service consistency.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Ukrainian and English, with excellent speaking, listening, and comprehension skills.
Demonstrated experience in interpretation or translation, ideally within call center, medical, legal, or customer service environments.
Ability to maintain accuracy, neutrality, and cultural sensitivity while interpreting in real time.
Comfort with remote work, including reliable internet access, suitable home workspace, and strong time management skills.
Solid technical skills, including familiarity with online communication platforms, call center software, and basic troubleshooting.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
Knowledge of professional ethics, confidentiality requirements, and data protection standards.
Ongoing willingness to participate in training, feedback sessions, and skill development programs.
Previous experience in international or multilingual environments is an advantage.
Relevant education or certification in languages, interpretation, translation, or related fields is preferred.
