Women’s fashion wear designer

We are pre-launch and building our first collection. Every piece we create is a love letter , to femininity, to softness as strength, to the woman who has been waiting for a brand that sees her fully. We are building Love Always to stand alongside international brands and we are looking for a designer who understands what that standard means.
Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Women’s Fashion Wear Designer at Love Always . The designer will create original concepts, sketches, and technical drawings for women’s apparel, ensuring alignment with the brand’s aesthetic and target market. Daily responsibilities include researching trends, fabrics, and colors, developing seasonal collections, and refining designs based on feedback from the creative and production teams.
Qualifications
Strong fashion design skills, including concept development, sketching, and technical drawing for women’s apparel.
Experience with trend research, fabric selection, color palettes, and collection planning.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD tools) and digital portfolio management.
Knowledge of garment construction, pattern making principles, and fit standards for diverse body types.
Ability to collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly in written and verbal English.
Strong time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a contract-based, project-driven environment.
Previous experience in women’s fashion or ready-to-wear design; experience with inclusive or size-diverse lines is a plus.
Relevant education in Fashion Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, and a portfolio demonstrating recent work.
