Role Description The Vice President of Financial Data is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the strategy, integrity, and usability of financial information across the organization. This role leads the design and implementation of financial data frameworks, ensuring accurate financial reporting and meaningful performance insights for internal and external stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting financial statements, guiding financial planning processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial data with operational priorities. The Vice President will manage analytics initiatives, refine reporting dashboards, and drive continuous improvement in data quality, controls, and reporting standards. This role also mentors team members, sets best practices for financial analysis, and supports executive decision-making with clear, data-driven recommendations.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Finance, including experience managing complex financial data environments and leading finance teams.
Proficiency in Financial Planning and forecasting, with a track record of building and overseeing budgeting and long-term planning processes.
In-depth knowledge of Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including compliance with relevant accounting and reporting standards.
Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to translate data into strategic insights, KPIs, and executive-ready reports.
Experience with financial systems, BI tools, and data visualization platforms; comfort working with large data sets.
Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, including clear communication with executive teams and non-financial partners.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, MBA) is advantageous.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage competing priorities, and uphold high ethical and confidentiality standards.
