Role Description The HVAC GI Ducting Engineer and Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhopal. The role involves reviewing HVAC drawings and specifications, planning duct layouts, and supervising the installation of GI ducting and related components. The engineer and supervisor will coordinate with contractors, technicians, and other site personnel to ensure work is completed according to design, safety standards, and project timelines. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting ongoing work, resolving technical issues, verifying material quality and quantities, and maintaining clear documentation of progress and changes. The role also requires monitoring adherence to safety protocols, conducting basic testing and balancing of airflow, and communicating regularly with clients or project leads about status, risks, and required adjustments.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, GI ducting design, installation practices, and basic airflow principles.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and site plans.
Experience supervising site teams, coordinating with contractors, and managing daily work schedules.
Understanding of safety standards, quality control procedures, and relevant local regulations for HVAC installations.
Practical skills in site measurement, material estimation, and basic troubleshooting of ducting-related issues.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with clients and multi-disciplinary teams.
Proficiency in using basic computer tools; familiarity with CAD or HVAC design software is an advantage.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in HVAC ducting.
