Role Description The Mechanical Designer / Engineer will work on-site in the Lahore District in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design and development of mechanical systems and components for civil and industrial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing technical and mechanical drawings, performing machine and component design, and using CAD tools to create detailed models and layouts. The role involves collaborating with civil and mechanical engineering teams, supporting research and development activities, and ensuring that designs align with project specifications, safety standards, and cost targets. The Mechanical Designer / Engineer will also assist in reviewing project requirements, coordinating with project managers, and refining designs based on feedback and field conditions to support efficient and reliable project delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Drawing and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for creating precise mechanical and project drawings.
Candidates should possess practical expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design for developing robust, efficient mechanical systems and components.
Candidates should possess capabilities in Research and Development (R&D) for improving existing designs, exploring new solutions, and supporting innovation in project delivery.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in mechanical design.
Proficiency with industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) and familiarity with applicable codes and standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
Effective communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
