Hiring: Part-Time Video Editor for My Instagram
About the role
I run a branding and packaging design studio in Delhi and I'm building a creator-led platform around design, brand strategy, and consumer brands.
My Instagram content (@mittalsaabb) explores why brands look the way they do, what makes packaging effective, and how design influences perception. The format combines talking-head commentary, visual breakdowns with humour.
I’m looking for a Video Editor who can turn raw footage and scripts into engaging, visually thoughtful reels while preserving my voice.
This is an ongoing part-time role. You’ll work directly with me, learn the page’s visual language, and help build a consistent editing workflow.
What I’m looking for
Strong understanding of Hindi, English, and conversational Hinglish.
Good judgement around pacing, storytelling, and humour.
Work with footage, music, text, transitions, pacing, and other elements to create engaging edits
A strong visual eye, particularly for typography and layout.
Comfort editing in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Someone who is comfortable learning and trying new editing styles
Attention to detail and a willingness to take feedback
Formal qualifications are not essential. Relevant work and editing judgement matter more.
Nice to have
After Effects and motion-graphics skills.
Experience editing design or other visually explanatory content.
Experience with longer YouTube videos.
Familiarity with organised review and file-sharing workflows.
How we’ll work together
We’ll agree on weekly hours, deliverables, turnaround times, and revision limits before starting.
You’ll have regular feedback sessions with me rather than receiving disconnected briefs.
The initial eight-week engagement will help us establish the visual style and test the workflow.
We’ll review the arrangement based on quality, communication, consistency, and actual workload.
The role may expand over time if content volume increases and the collaboration works well. A future full-time position is a possibility, not a guarantee.
