Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Frontend Developer at Lihaxa. The Frontend Developer intern will assist in building and refining user interfaces for web and mobile experiences, with a focus on responsive design and usability. Day-to-day tasks include implementing UI components, integrating front-end features with backend services, testing and debugging user-facing functionality, and collaborating with designers and engineers to ensure a consistent, accessible user experience. The intern will also help optimize performance, contribute to code reviews, and document front-end solutions and workflows. This role offers exposure to digital health products and AI-driven experiences in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Qualifications
Strong Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) and core web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Ability to create Responsive Web Design and user-centered interfaces that work across devices, screen sizes, and platforms.
Foundational Web Development and Software Development skills, including version control (e.g., Git), basic testing, and debugging practices.
Basic understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts and APIs to effectively collaborate with backend engineers.
Current enrollment or recent completion of a degree or training program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly in a remote, collaborative environment.
Interest in digital health, AI-driven products, and improving healthcare access in underserved markets is a plus.
