Watson Refrigeration is looking for an experienced Supermarket Refrigeration Service Technician to support customers in the Raleigh area. You’ll work on the systems that keep grocery stores running, food at temperature, and customers’ businesses moving.
What You’ll Do
Troubleshoot, service, and repair supermarket refrigeration equipment, including parallel rack systems, refrigerated cases, walk-in coolers, and freezers.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control issues and make effective repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance to improve reliability and catch problems before they become emergency calls.
Troubleshoot compressors, evaporators, condensers, valves, defrost systems, and refrigeration controls.
Read wiring diagrams and schematics to identify problems and determine the next steps.
Communicate clearly with store managers about equipment issues, repairs, and follow-up needs.
Complete accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and refrigerant handling.
Follow safety procedures and applicable refrigerant handling requirements.
What We’re Looking For
Hands-on experience servicing supermarket refrigeration equipment and parallel rack systems.
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and an understanding of refrigeration operation.
Experience diagnosing refrigeration controls, defrost issues, and temperature problems.
The ability to work independently, prioritize service needs, and know when to ask for support.
Clear communication, dependable follow-through, and pride in your work.

Experience That Would Help You Stand Out
Experience with electronic refrigeration controls and energy management systems.
