Security Engineer - Akamai

Senior Security Engineer, Security Automation & Platform Engineering
This role will design and implement security automation solutions supporting Akamai Origin Lockdown, perimeter security modernization, and future security orchestration initiatives. The engineer will develop automation using Terraform, APIs, and cloud-native technologies to reduce manual operations, accelerate onboarding, improve security posture, and enable scalable policy enforcement across CVS Health’s internet-facing applications. The role requires a blend of security engineering, software development, cloud infrastructure, and automation expertise. The engineer will partner closely with Akamai, Network, DNS, AppSec, and Platform Engineering teams to deliver secure-by-default and automated security controls.
