CHIEF INFORMATION SECURITY OFFICER (CISO)

RIAH Pathway is an education and workforce development ecosystem connecting academics, experiential development, professional preparation, technology, and career pathways. The founder is in pre-beta stage with beta launching in Spring 2026, is the only person on the team, and now hiring the necessary people to launch and scale with additional hiring.
🛡️ POSITION OVERVIEW
The CISO must know how to lead cybersecurity operations, infrastructure protection, risk management, access controls, vulnerability management, and incident response.
The CISO will hire and oversee the Red, Blue, and Purple Team Specialists and collaborate with the CTO to protect organizational technology, systems, networks, and proprietary information. Until the team is hired, you will help as the Cybersecurity Specialist to protect the network, devices, and other digital assets.
Qualifications: Previous cybersecurity technical and management experience, including team leadership and security operations.
🌐 WORK ARRANGEMENT
- After Year One: Primarily remote with quarterly executive meetings in Cleveland, Ohio.
- Meeting Stipend: $5,000 annually after Year One.
💰 COMPENSATION & CONTRIBUTIONS
- Location: 100% remote.
- Equity: 1.68% | 4 year vesting and performance requirements.
- Compensation: Revenue based; no guaranteed fixed salary.
- Monthly Contribution: $520.83 during pre-beta, adjusted as additional qualifying team members join.
- First Contribution Due: November 15, 2026.
- Benefits: Proposed benefits subject to funding and eligibility.
- Technology: Startup equipment purchases required, with potential reimbursement under applicable policies.
