We are working with an established IT Solutions & Managed Security Services Provider looking to add an experienced Senior Security Engineer to its growing Managed Security Services team.
This is a hands-on role focused on Palo Alto Cortex XDR/XSIAM and security automation. We're looking for someone with strong experience across Palo Alto security platforms who can also build automated workflows, integrate security platforms, and help improve security operations across customer environments.
Responsibilities
Configure, manage, and support enterprise security platforms, primarily Palo Alto Cortex XDR and XSIAM.
Design and build automated workflows, playbooks, and integrations to improve security operations and incident response.
Identify opportunities to automate manual security processes and improve threat detection and response.
Support integrations across endpoint security, SIEM, SOAR, and other security technologies.
Troubleshoot security platform issues, optimize configurations, and support ongoing customer needs.
Work closely with security engineering and managed services teams on customer environments and security initiatives.
Requirements
Strong hands-on Security experience with Palo Alto Cortex XDR and XSIAM.
Experience developing and implementing automated workflows, playbooks, or integrations using security automation tools, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar platforms.
Solid understanding of security operations, SIEM, endpoint detection and response (EDR/XDR), threat detection, and incident response.
Experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise security platforms.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical teams in a remote environment.
Previous experience within an MSSP, MSP, VAR, or consulting environment is a plus.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
Experience with other security technologies such as CrowdStrike, Splunk, Torq, or Cortex XSOAR.
Experience with scripting, APIs, and security platform integrations.
PCNSE certification is a plus but not required.
