Job Title: Oracle Financials General Ledger Functional Consultant
Location: Remote Job + minimum travel
Duration: 3 Months+
Job Description:
Serve as an Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials GL Functional SME, supporting design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production stabilization.
Partner with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Reporting, Data Conversion, and Technical Integration teams to define and deliver business requirements.
Support complex financial processes across multiple business units, legal entities, ledgers, currencies, and implementation releases.
Provide functional expertise in GL configuration, period close, intercompany accounting, foreign currency processing, revaluation/translation, allocations, and financial reporting.
Define GL integration requirements and develop Functional Design Documents (FDDs) for inbound and outbound integrations, including mappings, validations, reconciliation, and error handling.
Support data conversion, reconciliation, integration testing, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
Troubleshoot complex GL and integration issues, recommend solutions, and work with business and technical teams to drive them through resolution.
Primarily Remote. Onsite for key activities, Primary location NYC. Alt location Los Angeles, CA
