About the Opportunity
The Data Analyst, Reporting drives business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers. Based in the United States, this full-time role collects, aggregates, and analyzes data from multiple internal and external sources to deliver insights into business performance. The position partners with internal stakeholders to produce actionable reports that present key performance indicators, identify areas for operational improvement, and conduct root cause analyses.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate to build intuitive data visualizations that offer deep, actionable insights for complex and dynamic business challenges in the fintech space.
Take ownership of the UX/UI experience delivered to users across multiple data products.
Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence tools.
Help identify the business data required to produce meaningful insights and future analytics.
Partner with stakeholders to communicate findings and recommend data-driven operational improvements.
Support seasoned peers and management on difficult to complex data and reporting projects.
Apply organizational policies and procedures to resolve a variety of subject area-related issues while developing professional expertise.
Address problems of moderate scope that are varied and routine, reviewing multiple factors to evaluate situations and data.
Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate courses of action.
Apply learned techniques and contribute to investigative analysis to resolve problems.
Build productive internal and external working relationships to resolve mutual problems through collaborative procedures and transactions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent work experience.
Hands-on experience with SQL.
Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
Demonstrated ability to analyze varied and routine problems of moderate scope requiring the review of multiple factors.
Demonstrated judgment within defined practices and procedures to select appropriate solutions.
Proven ability to apply analytical techniques and investigate issues to resolve problems.
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to establish productive internal and external working relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional experience in a SaaS company or fintech environment.
Familiarity with the data visualization tool Sigma.
Experience with Python or R.
Exposure to data governance or data quality frameworks.
General experience with Claude or other AI-powered analytics tools.
Experience with Agile or Kanban project methodologies.
Experience with Databricks.
