Vilas Transcore Limited, a well-established manufacturing leader with a strong presence in Vadodara since 1996, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Executive Leadership Team.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and direct the entire financial operations of our manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a proven, extensive track record in the manufacturing industry, with deep expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), cost accounting, budgeting, capital management, and robust SAP systems implementation and monitoring
The CFO will be a key strategic partner to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) and the Executive team, responsible for optimizing financial performance, mitigating risks, and ensuring the company's sustained, profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
The CFO will oversee all financial functions and contribute to overall corporate strategy by:
Financial Strategy & Leadership: Lead all aspects of financial management, including comprehensive budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis. Partner directly with the CMD and Executive team to develop and execute the company’s long-term strategic plan.
Cost Accounting & Control: Direct and optimize cost accounting functions to ensure accurate product costing, inventory valuation, margin analysis, and overhead control. Monitor key operational KPIs and cost drivers across the supply chain, production, and logistics.
Capital & Risk Management: Strategically manage financial risks, liquidity, capital structure, working capital requirements, and CAPEX planning. Experience in capital raising and debt management is highly desirable.
Systems & Efficiency: Implement, optimize, and manage SAP systems (or similar ERP) for enhanced financial reporting, manufacturing performance tracking, and efficiency. Identify opportunities for cost savings, operational efficiencies, and automation in financial processes.
Compliance & Stakeholder Relations: Lead treasury, tax planning, statutory compliance, and audit processes. Ensure full adherence to all financial regulations and internal controls. Establish and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required. A professional certification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
Experience: A minimum of 12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 8 years in a CFO or senior finance leadership role within the Manufacturing or Engineering industry.
Technical Expertise: Strong, in-depth understanding of manufacturing cost structures, CAPEX management, inventory controls, and production efficiency metrics.
SAP Proficiency: Proven proficiency and hands-on experience with the SAP Business One module (or comparable full-scale ERP system) is essential.
Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and decision-making skills. Proven ability to build, lead, and mentor high-performing finance team
