We act for a large number of well-known Tier 1 insurers, many of whom are household names, dealing with complex, catastrophic and large loss claims.The team is currently recruiting for a Solicitor with a background in dealing with Multi Track RTA cases. The role will be owning your own cases of Multi Track mainly RTA cases sub £100,000 in value. The team are based in Birmingham however we can be flexible on location and will consider remote working candidates ResponsibilitiesAs a Solicitor on the Major Injury Team you will engage in a wide range of activities, such as:Managing your own caseload of multi track claims, compromising of a variety of defendant major injury cases, mainly RTA and personal injury. Drafting pleadings, reports to clients, attending court hearings, working to court deadlines, liability investigations, gathering evidence, instructing experts and considering interesting medical causation issue.Prioritising work effectively and to maximise efficiency in working practices, adhering to court deadlines and directions, as well as the client's service level agreements.Building working relationships internally and externally in order to develop business networks and create a solid understanding of the Firm’s direction and client needs.What will help you succeed in this role? Essential Criteria:2+ years PQE within litigation Multi Track cases Technically experienced in RTA, Motor or Personal Injury Ideally experienced handling high value defendant files either in your own right, or as an assistant to more senior team members.
