Role Description The Security Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaynagar-I, responsible for overseeing all security operations across the company’s facilities. Day-to-day tasks include planning and implementing security policies, supervising security personnel, monitoring access control systems, and conducting regular inspections of premises to identify and mitigate risks. The role involves coordinating incident response, investigating security breaches, maintaining security documentation, and liaising with local authorities and external security vendors when needed. The Security Manager will also collaborate with management to assess emerging threats, develop training for staff, and ensure compliance with internal standards and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Physical Security and Security Management, including supervision of security teams and development of security protocols.
Solid understanding of Information Security and Cybersecurity principles to safeguard company data and systems.
Knowledge of Network Security practices, including monitoring and coordinating with IT teams on secure infrastructure.
Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and implementing preventive measures.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Effective communication and documentation skills for reporting incidents and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Prior experience in a security management or supervisory role; experience in industrial, commercial, or logistics environments is an advantage.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., security management, information security) and a degree or diploma in security, criminal justice, or a related field are preferred.
