Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead interior design projects from concept to completion, including client consultations, design development, and coordination with project stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing design concepts, space plans, material boards, and FF&E selections, as well as overseeing construction drawings and ensuring design intent is maintained on site. The role involves guiding junior team members, collaborating with architects and consultants, and attending site meetings in Ahmedabad to monitor progress and quality. The Senior Interior Designer will also manage project timelines, support budget adherence, and contribute to presentations and documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.
Qualifications
Strong interior design and FF&E skills, including concept development, material selection, and furniture, fixtures, and equipment specifications.
Proficiency in space planning and architectural coordination to ensure functional layouts and integration with overall building design.
Experience preparing and reviewing construction drawings, details, and documentation for execution and approvals.
Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with several years of experience in interior design projects.
Ability to lead project teams, manage multiple projects, and communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and familiarity with local building standards.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and readiness to work on-site in Ahmedabad as required by project demands.
