Role Description The AutoCAD Drafter will be responsible for producing precise technical and architectural drawings based on project specifications, sketches, and design inputs from architects and engineers. Day-to-day tasks include developing and updating shop drawings, preparing detailed plans and layouts, and ensuring that all drawings align with applicable standards, codes, and project requirements. The role involves coordinating with project team members to clarify design details, revising drawings as needed, and organizing drawing files for easy access and version control. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruvallur, requiring regular collaboration with colleagues and timely support for ongoing projects.
Qualifications
Ability to create and interpret Technical Drawing and general Drawing for architectural and construction projects.
Experience preparing detailed Shop Drawings for fabrication, installation, and coordination purposes.
Skill in producing accurate Architectural Drawings aligned with design concepts and project standards.
Foundational understanding of Architecture principles to support practical and compliant design documentation.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting software; familiarity with industry standards and building codes.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple drawing revisions and deadlines.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers on-site.
Relevant diploma or degree in drafting, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in a similar role is an advantage.
