Role Description The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable features for SkillUpBlox’s AI-powered learning platform in a full-time, remote capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing back-end services and APIs, writing clean and efficient code, and integrating AI tools and data-driven components into the platform. The role involves collaborating with product, design, and content teams to deliver user-focused functionality, improve performance, and ensure platform reliability and security. The Software Engineer will also review code, participate in architecture discussions, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and technical documentation.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles.
Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Experience in Back-End Web Development, including building and maintaining APIs and services.
Knowledge of modern web frameworks, databases, and cloud-based architectures.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or integration of AI tools into applications is a plus.
Ability to write clean, testable code and use version control tools (e.g., Git).
Effective communication skills and experience working in remote, cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
