Role Description The Assistant Manager Finance will oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounts management, budgeting, and financial reporting for projects and corporate activities.
This full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, monitoring cash flows, and supporting audits and compliance with regulatory requirements. The position involves coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and vendors to ensure accurate records and timely payments.
The Assistant Manager Finance will assist in financial analysis for new projects, cost control, and forecasting, while helping implement internal controls and process improvements. The role also includes supporting senior management with financial dashboards, MIS reports, and data needed for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in accounting and finance principles, including financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control.
Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including use of spreadsheets, reconciliations, and basic financial modeling.
Knowledge of taxation, statutory compliance, and audit processes relevant to real estate or project-based businesses.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams, external partners, and management.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
Prior experience in finance or accounts, preferably in real estate, construction, or similar project-driven industries, is beneficial.
