Role Description The Video Editor role at EnvisionStudio is a part-time, remote position focused on creating high-quality video content for a variety of client projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing raw footage into engaging narratives, applying transitions and effects, and optimizing video formats for different platforms. The Video Editor will collaborate with project managers, designers, and other creatives to align videos with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. Additional tasks include basic sound editing, organizing media assets, and delivering files according to project timelines and technical specifications. The role requires clear communication, the ability to work independently, and consistency in meeting deadlines across multiple concurrent projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including handling raw footage and assembling polished final cuts.
Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading and Motion Graphics to enhance visual quality and create dynamic, on-brand visual elements.
Candidates should possess skills in Graphics, with the ability to integrate titles, lower thirds, overlays, and simple visual assets into video content.
Proficiency with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects) and familiarity with common video formats and codecs.
Strong storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and an understanding of pacing, composition, and visual consistency across different platforms.
Reliable remote working setup, effective time management, and clear written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with distributed teams.
Experience working on client-driven or freelance projects and a portfolio showcasing relevant video editing and motion graphics work.
