About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and proactive Academic Trainer – School Success Manager to join our team in Chennai.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy teaching, interacting with educators, visiting schools, and helping teachers implement effective classroom practices. You will work closely with partner schools to deliver academic training, support curriculum implementation, promote the effective use of digital learning resources, and ensure a positive experience for our school partners.
The position involves regular travel across Tamil Nadu and offers valuable hands-on experience in teacher training, academic coordination, and school relationship management.
Key Responsibilities1. Teacher Training & Academic Development
Conduct Academic Training Unit (ATU) sessions for teachers handling Pre-KG, LKG, UKG, and Grade 1.
Demonstrate effective teaching methodologies, phonics instruction, classroom activities, and curriculum implementation strategies.
Guide teachers in using textbooks, workbooks, teacher manuals, and supplementary learning materials effectively.
Provide practical suggestions to improve classroom engagement and teaching effectiveness.
2. School Visits & Relationship Management
Visit partner schools across Tamil Nadu according to the planned travel schedule.
Build and maintain professional relationships with school management, principals, coordinators, and teachers.
Understand school requirements and provide appropriate academic support.
Follow up on school feedback, implementation progress, and pending academic concerns.
3. Curriculum Implementation & Digital Support
Support schools in implementing the Sapience curriculum effectively.
Assist teachers with academic queries, lesson planning, classroom activities, and teaching strategies.
Guide schools in using Sapience digital learning resources, including the Sapience Kids App and Windows App.
Coordinate with internal academic and technical teams to resolve implementation challenges.
4. School Implementation Monitoring (SIM)
Conduct School Implementation Monitoring (SIM) visits to understand how effectively the curriculum is being implemented.
Observe classroom practices and identify areas where teachers may require additional guidance.
Collect feedback from teachers and school management.
Prepare SIM reports and recommend practical improvements to strengthen academic implementation.
5. Reporting & Internal Coordination
Prepare school visit plans, ATU training reports, SIM reports, and follow-up updates.
Maintain accurate records of school visits, training sessions, feedback, and pending requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams to address recurring concerns and improve academic support.
Plan school visits and travel efficiently to ensure systematic coverage and timely follow-ups.

Qualifications & Skills
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related discipline.
Experience in teaching, teacher training, academic coordination, or school support is an advantage.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
An interest in early childhood education, primary education, and phonics-based learning.
Good organisational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
Basic proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and digital learning tools.
Willingness to travel extensively across Tamil Nadu as part of the role.
A positive attitude, adaptability, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Freshers with strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in teaching and training are encouraged to apply.
