Role Summary
We are looking for a Finance and Operations Manager to oversee the company’s financial management, day-to-day operations, reporting, compliance, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing both financial controls and operational workflows to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, financial planning, and expense tracking.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
Oversee accounting processes, invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and vendor management.
Ensure compliance with tax, audit, legal, and internal policy requirements.
Monitor operational performance and improve systems, workflows, and internal processes.
Support procurement, contracts, inventory, administration, and office operations where applicable.
Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, banks, vendors, and service providers.
Develop and maintain internal controls, approval processes, and financial documentation.
Track KPIs and provide insights to improve efficiency, cost control, and profitability.
Support HR and payroll coordination, where required.
Lead and support cross-functional projects related to finance, operations, and business growth.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, operations, or business management.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, reporting, financial controls, and business operations.
Experience with accounting software and MS Excel / Google Sheets.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or MBA.
Experience in [insert industry: education, retail, healthcare, real estate, technology, etc.].
Experience managing teams, vendors, or multi-location operations.
Familiarity with ERP systems or tools such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Tally, Xero, SAP, or Oracle.
