Role Description The Data Analyst intern will support research and product teams by collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various engineering, IoT, and AI-related sources. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing datasets, performing exploratory data analysis, building basic data models, and generating reports and visualizations that inform design and development decisions. The intern will work closely with engineers and researchers to translate data findings into actionable insights for intelligent automation and applied AI solutions. This is an internship role and is a remote position, requiring independent work, clear communication, and regular collaboration through online tools.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and Data Analytics capabilities to interpret complex datasets and derive meaningful insights.
Solid understanding of Statistics and Data Modeling for hypothesis testing, trend analysis, and building predictive or descriptive models.
Effective Communication skills to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, Python/R, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
Currently pursuing or having completed a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
Interest in AI, robotics, IoT, and applied research; prior project or internship experience in these areas is an advantage.
