Role Description The Graduate Engineering Trainee internship role at Aenrox Engineering is a remote position focused on supporting research, design, and development activities in AI, robotics, and automation projects. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting in mechanical and manufacturing engineering design, participating in prototyping and testing, and contributing to documentation of engineering processes and results. Trainees will help coordinate small project modules, collect and analyze technical data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely progress on R&D initiatives. The role also involves learning and applying engineering best practices, supporting process improvements, and communicating updates and findings to mentors and project leads.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills, including clear written reporting and effective collaboration in distributed teams.
Sound Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data interpretation, and technical decision support.
Basic Project Management abilities to organize tasks, track progress, and support timely delivery of project milestones.
Fundamental knowledge in Mechanical Engineering, including design principles, materials, and basic CAD familiarity.
Understanding of Manufacturing Engineering concepts such as production processes, prototyping, and design for manufacturability.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related engineering discipline.
Interest in AI, robotics, automation, and embedded systems, with willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and adapt to a research-driven environment.
