About The Role
Shipcom is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Back-end Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing back-end applications that underpin our innovative IoT solutions. Your expertise will help improve the robustness, performance, and scalability of our platform, ensuring a seamless experience for our users. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, database administrators, and other stakeholders to create cohesive and efficient systems. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
7+ years of professional experience in enterprise software development
Proven expertise in building high-performance, scalable systems
Strong proficiency with runtime environments such as Node.js and ASP.NET
Experience with server-side languages including .NET, C#, Python, and PHP
Working knowledge of IoT standards, protocols, and strategies
Proficiency with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and libraries like AngularJS, React, Three.js, Babylon.js, and Amber
Solid understanding of front-end languages including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
Knowledge of version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
Experience working within Agile Scrum methodologies
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and project management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Passion for innovation, problem-solving, and creating value for customers
Responsibilities
Architect, design, and develop software solutions to manage complex business workflows
Define and implement API strategies and integrations with third-party applications and platforms
Identify architectural risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure system stability and security
Collaborate with front-end developers, database administrators, and other team members to establish clear objectives and develop cohesive, functional code
Design, develop, and integrate web APIs to support platform features
Analyze data, code, and processes to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
Identify opportunities to enhance system performance and operational efficiency
Ensure cross-platform optimization for web and mobile devices
Implement security measures and data protection protocols to safeguard information
Stay updated on the latest developments in web applications, programming languages, and IoT standards
Adhere to project timelines, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of development milestones
