We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer who can take ownership of the end-to-end design process, from UX research and product discovery to user experience strategy, interface design, and implementation.
This role is ideal for a designer who goes beyond creating visually appealing interfaces and is passionate about identifying real user problems, improving complex user journeys, and delivering measurable product improvements.
Key Responsibilities
UX Research & Product Discovery
Conduct UX audits and usability evaluations of existing digital products.
Plan and execute user interviews, usability testing, competitive analysis, and user journey mapping.
Identify usability issues, friction points, and opportunities for product improvement.
Translate qualitative and quantitative research findings into actionable design recommendations.
UX Strategy & Experience Design
Lead the redesign of existing products, including information architecture, navigation structures, user flows, and feature organization.
Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and end-to-end user experiences.
Balance user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
Define and prioritize UX improvements based on research insights and product goals.
UI Design & Design Systems
Design high-quality, intuitive, and visually consistent interfaces for mobile and web applications.
Create localized user experiences optimized for Korean users and market expectations.
Establish and maintain scalable design systems, reusable components, and UI guidelines.
Deliver development-ready designs using Figma.
Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure design quality throughout implementation.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders.
Clearly communicate design decisions backed by user research and evidence.
Lead design reviews, collect feedback, and continuously refine solutions.
Advocate for user-centered design throughout the product development lifecycle.
Qualifications
7+ years of professional experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or related fields.
Proven experience leading UX/UI redesign or product improvement projects for live digital services.
Strong expertise in UX research, information architecture, user flows, interaction design, and usability testing.
Advanced proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, Components, Variants, and design systems.
Strong visual design skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Deep understanding of Korean digital product conventions, mobile-first experiences, and local user behavior.
Ability to independently manage the design process from research through final delivery.
Experience collaborating with product managers and frontend/mobile developers.
A portfolio demonstrating both design thinking and measurable product improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing healthcare, wellness, SaaS, or data-driven applications.
Experience with complex user journeys, dashboards, and data visualization.
Experience working with React Native or Flutter development teams.
Understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
Experience conducting A/B testing or using product analytics to validate design decisions.
Experience working in startups or fast-paced product development environments.
Ability to communicate effectively in both Korean and English.
