We are looking for an experienced Electrical BIM Modeler to join our team on a remote basis.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed Electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
Prepare electrical layouts for LV power, lighting, small power, Containment, fire alarm, earthing and lightning protection.
Coordinate electrical services with architectural, structural and mechanical disciplines.
Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks.
Generate 2D drawings and documentation from BIM models.
Ability to prepare electrical panel schedule in Revit.
Strong knowledge of Revit family preparation.
· Support automation workflows (Dynamo) for efficiency.
Assist Electrical Engineers/BIM Coordinators with model development and coordination.
Ensure models comply with project BIM standards, LOD requirements and applicable UAE/Middle East standards.
Coordinate with design teams to resolve modelling issues.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Technology.
3–4 years of experience as an Electrical BIM Modeler.
Mandatory experience in UAE or Middle East building projects.
Strong hands-on experience in Autodesk Revit MEP - Electrical.
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Working knowledge of Navisworks Manage and clash detection.
Good understanding of electrical building services and construction drawings.
Experience with LV electrical distribution, lighting, containment, cable trays and ELV systems.
Ability to read and understand electrical design drawings and LV SLDs.
Knowledge of UAE authority requirements such as DEWA/Dubai Civil Defence will be an advantage.
Reporting: Reports to the Dubai office (reporting line only).
