Role Description
The Full-Stack MERN / Next.js Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, Next.js, and Node.js. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing responsive user interfaces, building RESTful or GraphQL APIs, integrating third-party services, and ensuring application performance, security, and scalability. The role involves working closely with product and design teams, reviewing code, writing tests, and participating in technical planning and estimation. This is a full-time remote role, requiring proactive communication, ownership of features from concept to deployment, and ongoing optimization of existing systems.
Qualifications
Strong Front-End Development skills with React and Next.js, including responsive UI implementation and component-based architecture.
Solid Back-End Web Development capabilities using Node.js and Express.js, with experience building and integrating APIs.
Proficiency in Software Development principles, including version control (Git), testing, debugging, and secure coding practices.
Advanced JavaScript skills (ES6+), with understanding of asynchronous programming, modular design, and performance optimization.
Experience with state management tools such as Redux.js or similar libraries for managing complex application state.
Familiarity with databases (MongoDB or other NoSQL/SQL), data modeling, and query optimization.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage time independently, and collaborate using online communication tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in full-stack roles is a plus.
Important Note:
Working Schedule: Monday to Saturday — 8 hours per day
Salary: PKR 80,000/month
The salary is fixed during the initial period. Based on demonstrated technical ability, performance, reliability, and contribution to the team, a salary appraisal will be considered.
