Role Description
This full-time remote role is for a Laravel/Nuxt.js Developer responsible for building and maintaining robust web applications. Day-to-day tasks include developing back-end services in Laravel, implementing front-end interfaces in Nuxt.js, integrating APIs, and ensuring application performance and security. The developer will collaborate with designers, product teams, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and participate in code reviews. The role also involves writing clean, testable code, optimizing existing features, and contributing to technical documentation and best practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills, with hands-on experience in Laravel or similar PHP frameworks.
Candidates should possess solid Front-End Development skills, including practical experience with Nuxt.js or Vue.js and responsive UI implementation.
Candidates should be proficient in JavaScript and familiar with state management tools such as Redux.js, Pinia, Vuex, or comparable libraries.
Candidates should have experience working with RESTful APIs, SQL database design, and application performance optimization.
Candidates should have a good understanding of Git, collaborative development workflows, and basic CI/CD practices.
Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is beneficial. Previous experience in a similar full-stack development role is preferred.
Experience with Node.js is an added advantage (plus), but not a mandatory requirement.
Salary, Working Hours & Additional Preferences
Starting Salary: PKR 50,000 for the first month, with the opportunity for a significant performance-based salary increment following the initial evaluation.
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Pakistan Standard Time) preferred.
Joining Availability: Candidates available for immediate joining will be given preference.
UI/UX Understanding: Candidates should have a strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, modern design trends, responsive layouts, visual hierarchy, spacing, typography, and user-friendly interface elements.
Design Improvement Skills: Ability to identify UI/UX issues, recommend improvements, and independently implement polished, modern, and intuitive user interfaces.
Attention to Detail: Candidates who can enhance existing designs, maintain visual consistency, and improve overall usability will be preferred.
Additional Advantage: Experience with Node.js will be considered a plus.
