About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Cura is your own travel agent. You tell us the trip, we plan it, book it, and fix it if something breaks. We're live in Bengaluru and San Francisco, and we're a small team that ships fast.
We're hiring a Travel Writer. You'll write the guides people find when they search for their next trip, and turn those readers into Cura members.
What you'll do
- Write itineraries, trip cost guides and visa guides for places our users actually search: Thailand, Vietnam, Bali, Sri Lanka, Goa and more
- Write short answer pages for specific questions, like how many days to spend in Bali
- Research every fact from official sources: visa rules, fees, prices
- Write in the Cura CMS using our brief: answer-first intro, FAQs, internal links
- Pull keyword data from Ubersuggest before each piece
What we expect
- 2 blogs a day, 1,200 to 1,800 words each
- 3 short pieces a day, 400 to 600 words each
- 5 days a week
You're a fit if
- You've travelled and can write like a friend giving advice, not a brochure
- You're careful with facts and hate fluff
- You can use AI to draft but always rewrite it into your own voice
Pay
₹7,000 a month, plus up to ₹2,000 a month in incentives based on posts published on time, posts ranking in Google's top 20, and sign-ups from your posts.
Location
Hybrid. Remote 4 days, 1 day a week in our Bengaluru office.
