Software Quality Assurance Associate Engineer

JOB SUMMARY
As a Software Quality Assurance Associate, you will take ownership of software quality and reliability through testing and analysis to further 5Crest. You will create tests, execute tests, report issues identified, and improve the continuous testing process. You will work cross-functionally with other teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to identify, document, and resolve software issues, ensuring our products meet the highest quality and performance standards.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
• Design and implement automated test scripts for regression testing and continuous integration environments.
• Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure software functionality, performance, and security.
• Perform different types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers to understand the root cause of issues and verify fixes through retesting.
• Ensure QA best practices and standards are adhered to throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends related to software testing and quality assurance.
• Participate in the evaluation and adoption of new testing tools and methodologies.
