Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Assistant Video Editor to join our growing creative team in Jaipur. If you live and breathe short-form content, love experimenting with trending audio, and want to channel your technical visual skills into promoting traditional arts, this role is for you. You will assist in processing raw footage into high-quality, engaging visual assets across our application and major social media channels
Key Responsibilities
• Footage Assembly: Organize, log, and assemble raw footage from master artist profiles, art workshops, and internal course recordings.
• Short-Form Content Production: Edit highly engaging Reels, YouTube Shorts, and promotional video ads leveraging viral sounds, quick cuts, and trending social formats.
• Post-Production Support: Apply standard transitions, text overlays, clean subtitles, color corrections, and sound design/music pairing to rough cuts.
• Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the core marketing and creative teams to brainstorm video concepts and iterate based on internal feedback loops.
• Trend Integration: Keep tabs on current social media formats, audio trends, and relevant generative AI editing tools to streamline video assets.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all video exports match Rooftop’s branding guidelines and are delivered on time.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 0 to 2 years of professional video editing experience or structured internship backgrounds. A strong portfolio or demo reel is mandatory.
Software Competency: Hands-on proficiency in industry-standard tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects.
Visual Storytelling: A good sense of pacing, rhythm, audio-video synchronization, and narrative structure.
Work Ethic: Strong ability to multi-task under fast-moving startup timelines while maintaining technical precision.
