Chief Information Officer

Role Description The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will provide strategic leadership for information technology, ensuring that digital tools and systems effectively support Career Opportunity’s mission and remote operations. This part-time remote role involves overseeing IT operations, setting technology standards, and aligning IT strategy with business objectives. The CIO will evaluate and implement secure, scalable platforms for content management, data analytics, and user engagement, while maintaining system reliability and data protection. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding IT policies and governance, optimizing business processes through technology, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and managing external technology partners or vendors. The CIO will also monitor emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance the experience for job seekers and hiring organizations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong expertise in Information Technology and IT Operations.
Candidates should possess skills in IT Management and IT Strategy.
Candidates should possess capabilities in Business Process analysis and optimization.
Demonstrated experience in technology leadership, preferably in digital platforms, online services, or similar environments.
Proficiency in cybersecurity best practices, data privacy, and regulatory compliance relevant to online information services.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional setting and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, SaaS tools, and analytics platforms is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
