Site Engineer

Role Description
We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee daily construction activities and ensure projects are completed according to approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and effective coordination skills to support smooth site operations and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure work progresses according to project schedules and specifications.
Review construction drawings, technical documents, and project plans to ensure accurate implementation on-site.
Monitor construction quality, workmanship, materials, and installation processes to meet required standards.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
Conduct site inspections, monitor work progress, and prepare daily reports and project documentation.
Ensure construction activities comply with approved designs, relevant regulations, and health and safety requirements.
Identify site issues, assess potential risks, and implement practical solutions to minimize delays and rework.
Monitor material usage, delivery schedules, and site resources to support efficient project execution.
Track project milestones and assist in maintaining schedules, budgets, and quality control records.
Report progress, technical concerns, and construction updates to the project management team.
Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
Understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, technical drawings, and site procedures.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other relevant engineering or project management software.
Knowledge of construction quality control, site safety practices, and applicable building regulations.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with different project stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing site requirements.
