Location: Hyderabad
Work Mode: Remote| 1st two week at client location(Hyderabad)
Preferred Experience: 6 - 8 years
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Administrator / Developer with strong hands-on expertise across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. This role requires someone who can operate across both Salesforce administration and development - understanding business requirements, designing scalable solutions, implementing automation and integrations, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting the platform end to end.
The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of overall Salesforce experience, strong technical and functional knowledge of the Salesforce platform, and the ability to independently research problems and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is more than a ticket-driven Salesforce administrator. The successful candidate should be curious, technically strong, solution-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of problems from requirement through production implementation. The person should be eager to learn new Salesforce capabilities, research unfamiliar technical challenges, evaluate different approaches, and propose solutions rather than waiting for step-by-step direction. They should also be comfortable working in an evolving enterprise Salesforce environment where Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, integrations, and custom development are closely interconnected
Position Overview:
Administration & Platform Management
• Administer and enhance Salesforce environments with primary focus on Sales Cloud, along with Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Manage Salesforce security and access including Profiles, Roles, Permission Sets, Permission Set Groups, Sharing Rules, Org-Wide Defaults, and user access.
• Manage the complete user lifecycle including user creation, activation/deactivation, license assignment, access troubleshooting, and login-related issues.
• Design, create, and optimize custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules, formulas, and related Salesforce configurations.
• Maintain a scalable data model and evaluate existing configurations before introducing new objects, fields, or automation.
• Manage sandbox refreshes and coordinate post-refresh activities including configuration updates, integration validation, user access, test data, and environment readiness.
• Manage certificates, authentication configurations, and credentials required for Salesforce integrations.
• Support SSO implementations, preferably with Okta, and troubleshoot authentication and access-related issues.
Sales Cloud & CPQ
• Have strong hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, including Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, Products, Quotes, and related sales processes.
• Understand Salesforce object relationships and the impact of data-model decisions across sales processes.
• Experience working with a Salesforce CPQ or third-party CPQ solution and understanding the relationship between Opportunities, Products, Quotes, Quote Lines, Orders, and related objects.
• Partner with Sales and business stakeholders to improve Salesforce usability and automate sales processes.
Qualifications & Mindset
Technical depth, platform experience, and ownership from discovery through delivery.
Required Qualifications
• 5-6 years of hands-on Salesforce Administrator and Developer experience, with strong experience in Sales Cloud.
• At least 2-3 years of hands-on Service Cloud and Experience Cloud experience.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce security architecture including Profiles, Roles, Permission Sets, Permission Set Groups, Sharing Rules, and record-level access.
• Advanced hands-on experience building and troubleshooting Salesforce Flow.
• Working development experience with Apex, Triggers, asynchronous Apex, Batch Apex, and integrations/callouts.
• Experience with Lightning Experience, Lightning Record Pages, and preferably Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, object relationships, automation, and platform limits.
• Experience with APIs, OAuth-based integrations, External/Connected Apps, and integration authentication.
• Experience managing Salesforce sandboxes, refreshes, deployments, and post-refresh activities.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Required Certifications
• Salesforce Certified Administrator
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
Preferred Certifications:
Additional Salesforce certifications are highly desirable, particularly:
• Salesforce Platform App Builder
• Salesforce Advanced Administrator
• Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant
• Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant
• Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant
