Role Description The VP of Business Architecture is a full-time, remote role responsible for shaping the business architecture that underpins Day7’s AI-driven workforce solutions. This role leads the design of end-to-end business processes across HR, Finance, and related enterprise domains, ensuring that AI agents are aligned with client objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational realities. Day-to-day activities include partnering with clients to understand strategic goals, translating business needs into scalable architectures, and guiding the integration of AI capabilities with existing enterprise platforms. The VP collaborates closely with product, engineering, implementation, and sales teams to define solution roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and ensure consistent delivery quality. This role also provides executive-level thought leadership, mentors cross-functional teams, and contributes to go-to-market strategies by articulating the business value of Day7’s offerings.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex workforce, HR, and financial data and translate insights into actionable business architecture.
Deep understanding of finance and enterprise HR domains (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Financials, Talent) and how they intersect within large organizations.
Proven experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and designing end-to-end business workflows in enterprise environments.
Advanced project management capabilities, with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, managing stakeholders, and delivering outcomes on time and within scope.
Exposure to sales or pre-sales activities, such as solution consulting, supporting RFP responses, and presenting business architectures to executive stakeholders.
Experience working with or around AI, data, or enterprise software platforms, ideally within HR technology or related fields.
Comfort operating in a remote, fast-paced, and high-growth environment, with strong communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
