Vice President Information Technology

Role Description This full-time, remote Vice President Information Technology role is responsible for leading the overall technology vision, strategy, and execution for the organization. The VP will oversee IT operations, infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and vendor relationships to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable technology services. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding IT teams, prioritizing and managing technology projects, allocating budgets and resources, and aligning IT initiatives with business objectives. The role also involves collaborating with senior leadership on strategic planning, establishing governance and risk management practices, and driving continuous improvement in systems, processes, and user experience. The VP will monitor performance metrics, stay current with emerging technologies, and champion innovation that supports organizational growth.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Information Technology and enterprise-level IT Management, with experience overseeing infrastructure, applications, security, and support functions.
Proven ability to develop and execute IT Strategy and Strategic Planning that aligns technology investments with organizational goals.
Demonstrated Project Management skills, including leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through implementation and post-launch optimization.
Experience building and mentoring diverse IT teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth in a remote environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influence executive decision-making.
Background in governance, risk, and compliance, including cybersecurity best practices and data privacy standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are beneficial.
Track record of leading digital transformation or modernization initiatives and leveraging cloud, SaaS, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and service quality.
