About The Role
Sunbrella.com is a core channel for our brand, and we’re looking for a Technical Project Manager to run its day-to-day development. You’ll work closely with our developers, internal stakeholders, and external CRO and SEO agencies, turning priorities into well-scoped work and shipping it reliably on Adobe Commerce.
This is a good fit if you like owning the process end to end, can talk to engineers and marketers with equal ease, and can work independently in a fast-growing environment.
What You’ll Do
Plan and deliver
Run weekly standups and remove blockers quickly
Groom and prioritize the backlog with stakeholders
Break epics into stories, tasks, and bugs, and help estimate them so others can plan
Plan sprints, track velocity, and keep Jira accurate so status is never a surprise
Manage scope and change requests, reviewing scope and estimates with stakeholders and developers
Release and operate
Manage the path from dev to staging to production
Monitor performance and stability around launches, and lead post-incident reviews when something breaks
Track technical debt, patch and security update schedules, and version upgrade planning
Communicate and coordinate
Give stakeholders status updates in plain, useful language
Manage relationships and requests from external CRO and SEO agencies
Triage incoming bugs, content maintenance requests, project requests, and user feedback
Coordinate with other project managers to ensure marketing is providing content, assets, and requirements accurately and on time
Required
What you bring
Strong English proficiency, both written and spoken
3+ years of enterprise e-commerce experience, preferably on Adobe Commerce/Magento (Shopify experience also considered)
5+ years of project management experience
Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle and agile delivery, including working alongside developers, marketers, and designers
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, and JavaScript, enough to troubleshoot and challenge estimates
Proficiency with Jira and documentation tools
Experience writing technical documentation
Experience with SEO and CRO best practices and managing outside agencies
Nice to have
Deep Google Analytics and Tag Manager knowledge
Familiarity with content management systems
