Position Overview
We are preparing a new U.S. business expansion initiative associated with Revista murciacircular.es, with operations planned to launch in Miami on December 20, 2026.
We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to help establish the financial foundation of this early-stage business and guide its long-term financial strategy.
This position is ideal for a senior finance executive who enjoys working in a startup environment, building financial systems from the ground up, and contributing directly to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute financial strategies to support U.S. market expansion.
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Establish financial controls, reporting procedures, and risk management frameworks.
Manage financial compliance, tax planning, and relationships with external financial advisors.
Work closely with executive leadership on investment planning, capital allocation, and long-term growth.
Qualifications
15+ years of experience in finance, accounting, corporate financial management, or related fields.
Significant experience in senior financial leadership, preferably as a CFO, Finance Director, or VP of Finance.
Strong knowledge of U.S. financial reporting, corporate finance, and regulatory compliance.
Proven ability to manage budgets, financial risks, and complex business operations.
Experience with startups, international expansion, digital media, or publishing is preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making skills.
