Role Description The Owner role at Sunrise TechnoMech is a full-time, on-site position based in Mangaluru, responsible for overall business leadership and operational management. The Owner oversees strategic planning, sets business objectives, and ensures alignment with customer needs and market opportunities. Daily activities include managing key client relationships, supervising machining projects, monitoring productivity and cost performance, and coordinating with technical and sales teams. The role also involves evaluating new technologies and tools, maintaining partnerships with suppliers such as Sandvik Coromant, and ensuring quality, safety, and compliance across all operations. The Owner leads budgeting and financial oversight, supports team development, and drives continuous improvement in processes and customer service.
Qualifications
Strong background in manufacturing, machining, or metal cutting operations, with experience in project management and process optimization.
Proficiency in business management, including strategic planning, financial oversight, and budgeting.
Experience in sales, customer relationship management, and vendor or distributor partnerships, preferably in industrial or engineering sectors.
Ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams, with effective communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Familiarity with productivity improvement methodologies, quality standards, and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
Comfort working on-site in Mangaluru and engaging directly with customers, suppliers, and operations teams.
