About The Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Architect to lead and optimize our SAP Ariba solutions for procurement and supply chain management. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, guiding the design, implementation, and strategic enhancement of Ariba applications across our organization. This role involves collaborating closely with business stakeholders, suppliers, and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of SAP Ariba functionalities such as Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Ariba Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Management, and Supply Chain Collaboration. The SAP Ariba Architect will also oversee the configuration of SAP S/4HANA integrations, develop enterprise architecture strategies, and support end-user training and change management initiatives. This is a pivotal role that combines technical expertise with strategic planning to drive procurement excellence and operational efficiency at iHerb.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, information technology, or computer science
10+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst or Supply Chain Architect in SAP Ariba or a similar role, focusing on procurement during SAP implementations and support
Extensive knowledge of Ariba buying, indirect procurement, sourcing, contract management, supplier management, and supply chain collaboration
Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration and configuration, including CIG and SAP Business Network
Familiarity with SAP ACTIVATE methodology and SAP cloud solutions (public/private)
Effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and reporting
Proficiency in developing training materials, workflows, and technical documentation
Relevant SAP certifications are preferred but not mandatory
Responsibilities
Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP Ariba solutions aligned with organizational procurement strategies
Act as a liaison between suppliers, business units, and AMS teams to facilitate seamless communication and issue resolution
Configure Ariba modules including Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Lifecycle Management, and Supply Chain Collaboration
Design and configure SAP S/4HANA integration points for Ariba applications, including CIG and SAP Business Network
Develop and execute enterprise architecture strategies to ensure solutions meet business objectives and scalability requirements
Provide functional and technical guidance to stakeholders, translating business needs into effective technical solutions
Conduct discovery workshops, gather requirements, and validate solutions with business and technical teams
Support end-user training, create documentation, and facilitate change management initiatives to promote adoption of Ariba solutions
Collaborate with SAP on customizations, CRDs, and enhancements via SAP Ariba order store
Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, workflows, and project deliverables
