Senior Financial Director

Role Description This full-time remote Senior Financial Director role at BCB Group is responsible for overseeing all financial planning, reporting, and control activities to support strategic decision-making and sustainable growth. The Senior Financial Director will lead the finance team, set financial policies and procedures, and ensure accurate, timely preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing financial performance reviews, monitoring cash flow, overseeing regulatory and compliance requirements, and presenting financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business initiatives, optimize resource allocation, and drive process improvements. This position also guides risk management efforts, supports audits, and champions data-driven financial strategies across the organization.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance with proven experience in senior financial leadership roles.
Demonstrated expertise in Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
Advanced proficiency in Financial Reporting and preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with relevant standards.
Exceptional Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Experience managing remote teams and working effectively in a distributed, digital-first environment.
Solid understanding of regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements within financial services or related sectors.
Proficiency with modern financial systems, ERP tools, and business intelligence platforms.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present to executive leadership and boards.
Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) are highly advantageous.
