Role Description The Vice-President of Operations for Latin America will oversee end-to-end operational performance across the region in a full-time, remote capacity. This role is responsible for leading regional operations teams, defining and implementing operational frameworks, and ensuring that processes meet local regulatory, risk, and compliance standards. Day-to-day activities include optimizing workflows, monitoring key performance indicators, managing budgets and P&L for regional operations, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives with product, technology, compliance, and customer support teams. The role also involves developing and executing strategic plans for market expansion, resolving complex operational issues, and driving continuous improvement across customer experience, onboarding, and support processes. The Vice-President will represent the region in global leadership discussions, align local priorities with corporate strategy, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Operations Management and Project Management, including leading regional teams and delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Strong experience in P&L Management and financial oversight, with a track record of managing budgets and optimizing operational costs.
Proven background in Customer Service leadership, with the ability to design and improve customer support processes and service levels.
Advanced Strategic Planning skills, including building and executing regional growth and operational strategies in a fast-paced environment.
Extensive leadership experience in financial services, fintech, or a related regulated industry, ideally with responsibility across Latin America.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly beneficial.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort using data and metrics to inform decisions and measure performance.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, multicultural environment, balancing regional nuances with global standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
