WE'RE HIRING: SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Are you an experienced Project Manager who has successfully led large, complex, business-critical projects and knows how to bring multiple teams, stakeholders and priorities together to deliver results?
We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of strategic initiatives within a leading financial institution.
This is a senior-level opportunity for someone who can move comfortably between strategy and execution—managing budgets, timelines, risks, vendors, stakeholders and project teams while ensuring initiatives deliver measurable business value.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Lead large and complex projects from initiation and planning through execution, implementation and closure
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resources and deliverables
Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and competing priorities
Monitor project costs and ensure initiatives remain within budget while delivering value for money
Provide clear project status reporting and visibility to senior stakeholders
Develop business cases, project financials, benefits realization plans and other key project documentation
Partner with business sponsors and stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into executable projects and initiatives
Establish and chair project steering committees and drive accountability across project teams
Lead, coach and guide cross-functional teams working across multiple workstreams
Manage senior stakeholder relationships and maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle
Participate in vendor evaluation and selection and manage key vendor relationships during project delivery
Ensure projects meet required governance, quality assurance, risk, security and operational standards
Coordinate the successful transition of completed projects into Business as Usual (BAU), ensuring intended benefits are sustained
Lead post-implementation reviews and evaluate whether projects achieved the expected time, cost and performance outcomes
What We're Looking For
10–15 years of experience managing large and complex projects
Proven experience successfully leading major initiatives involving multiple teams and workstreams
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, principles, governance and delivery frameworks
Project Management certification/designation and/or significant related experience
Strong leadership and people-management capability
Excellent stakeholder and relationship-management skills
Strong business analysis and problem-solving capability
Experience managing project budgets, business cases and financials
Strong risk and issue management experience
Experience working with vendors and external partners
Strong negotiation and influencing skills, particularly with senior stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced, highly regulated and changing environment
