WE'RE HIRING: PROGRAMME MANAGER
Are you an experienced Programme Manager who has successfully led large-scale transformation programmes, multiple interdependent projects and senior cross-functional teams?
We're looking for a Programme Manager to provide strategic leadership, governance and oversight for complex programmes within the Financial Services sector.
This role goes beyond managing individual projects. You'll be responsible for bringing multiple projects and workstreams together, managing dependencies, budgets, resources and risks, and ensuring programmes ultimately deliver the business outcomes they were created to achieve.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead complex, enterprise-wide programmes comprising multiple projects and workstreams
Translate strategic priorities into programme roadmaps, milestones and measurable outcomes
Provide oversight and direction to Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts and other delivery professionals
Manage cross-project dependencies, programme risks, issues and competing priorities
Establish programme governance, reporting and escalation frameworks
Manage programme budgets, forecasts, expenditure and resource requirements
Present programme performance, recommendations and critical issues to Executive Sponsors and Steering Committees
Partner with senior stakeholders across Business, Technology, Operations, Finance, Risk and Compliance
Lead technology, business transformation, operational improvement and strategic change initiatives
Drive change management, operational readiness and successful transition into Business as Usual
Establish benefits-realisation plans and monitor whether programmes deliver their intended business value
Manage vendors, consultants and other third-party delivery partners
Coach and guide project delivery professionals while driving accountability across programme teams
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, IT, Project Management or a related discipline
Approximately 10–12 years of progressive Project, Programme or Transformation Management experience
At least 5 years leading major programmes, enterprise transformations or strategically significant cross-functional initiatives
Proven experience managing multiple interdependent projects, significant budgets and multidisciplinary teams
Experience providing oversight to Senior Project Managers, Project Managers and other delivery professionals
Strong Executive and Steering Committee stakeholder-management experience
Experience within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance or another highly regulated environment is strongly preferred
Strong Programme Governance, Risk, Budgeting And Benefits-realisation Experience
Experience with Agile, Waterfall and/or Hybrid delivery approaches
Recognised certification such as PgMP, MSP, PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner
Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills
