Role Description The Vice President of Strategic Projects is a full-time remote role responsible for leading high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that support the firm’s growth and operational excellence. This position oversees the planning, execution, and governance of strategic programs, including market expansion, service offering development, and internal efficiency projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining project scope and objectives, building structured plans and timelines, coordinating with senior leadership and project teams, and monitoring progress against key performance indicators. The Vice President will synthesize data and insights to inform decision-making, prepare executive-level presentations and updates, and proactively identify risks and opportunities. This role also mentors project managers, promotes best practices in program management, and ensures alignment between strategic projects and the firm’s long-term vision.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional strategic projects or programs in a consulting or professional services environment.
Strong skills in strategic planning, structured problem-solving, and business analysis, with the ability to translate ideas into actionable roadmaps.
Proficiency in project and program management methodologies, including scoping, resourcing, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of an organization, including executive leadership and diverse delivery teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creating clear executive presentations, status reports, and strategic recommendations.
Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong self-management, time management, and collaboration skills across geographies and time zones.
Background in consulting, corporate strategy, or transformation leadership; prior experience at the Director, Senior Director, or VP level is highly beneficial.
Advanced degree in Business, Management, Economics, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience with a strong track record of impact will also be considered.
Familiarity with data analytics and financial modeling to assess project viability, measure outcomes, and support decision-making.
