Sr. Java / Data / AWS Developer

Core Technical Skills
Java
Core Java (collections, multithreading, exception handling)
Spring Boot / Spring Framework
JDBC / Snowflake JDBC connector
Spark SQL
Unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)
Domain / Data Engineering Skills
ETL/ELT pipelines — ingestion, transformation, loading patterns
BOM explosion logic — multi-level BOM traversal, parent-child hierarchies
Supply chain concepts — EPS (Early Planning Signal), PSA, UDS, demand forecasting, supplier networks
Data quality — error flagging, validation rules, reconciliation
Scheduling/orchestration — Snowflake Tasks, Airflow, or Control-M
AWS
S3 (data lake storage, staging files)
Lambda / Step Functions (orchestration)
IAM (roles, policies, cross-account access)
CloudWatch (monitoring, alerting)
Athena
AWS Glue or similar ETL tools
Snowflake
SQL (advanced) — stored procedures, JavaScript UDFs, window functions, CTEs
Data warehousing concepts — star/snowflake schema, slowly changing dimensions
Snowflake objects — stages, streams, tasks, dynamic tables, views
Performance tuning — clustering keys, query profiling, warehouse sizing
Supporting Skills
Git — version control, branching strategies
CI/CD — Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
Linux/Shell scripting — basic automation
Agile/Scrum — sprint planning, story estimation
Monitoring — Snowflake query history, AWS CloudWatch, logging frameworks (Log4j/SLF4J)
